Does anyone in the Middle East even understand the reasons for the continuous conflicts as the reasons were understood when the conflicts all started? Is it possible that everything began when two ancient shepherds were playing tricks on each other?

Does anyone in the Middle East even understand the reasons for the continuous conflicts as the reasons were understood when the conflicts all started? Is it possible that everything began when two ancient shepherds were playing tricks on each other?

IMO, the main mistake is that Westerners don’t believe that Middle Easterners are a different culture than theirs and act from ignorance time and again.

Does any Westerner realize that they will never understand the reasons for the constant conflicts in the Middle East?

For millennia, the Middle East was a backwater of the world, with little or no progress, ruled by tribalism to this day and flavored with the tenets of Islam from the 7th century, while most of the world has moved on to the 21st.

My religion teacher said that there are no atheists because in order to reject God, you must first have a concept of God, and if you have a concept of God, you are not an atheist. In what way is this true, if at all? Why?
